Getting Here By Car From Glasgow, drive to Kennacraig which is approximately two and half hours. Take the A82 up Loch Lomond , turning onto the A83 at Tarbet. Follow the signs for Inveraray and Lochgilphead then Tarbert. The ferry terminal of Kennacraig is five miles from Tarbert following the signs for Campbeltown. Please note the ferry terminal is simply a terminal there is no town or village so look for the signs! By Bus: There is a daily bus service from Glasgow Buchanan Street Bus Station by West Coast Motors which connect with the ferry in both directions. The morning sailing into Islay will arrive at Port Ellen in the South of the Island and the afternoon will sail to Port Askaig in the North of the Island.
